reservations early, especially during holidays. (
Our Holiday Fees) Y Ensure
your pets are well socialized and they allow strangers to handle them.
Aggressive pasts with other animals or humans by your pets must be disclosed at initial interview. This does not
automatically disqualify you for our services. Y Affix
current identification tag’s on any pets who are able to attempt to escape. Y Maintain
and have ready the paperwork of current vaccinations for your pets. Y Have
ready clear instructions detailing specific pet-care responsibilities. Where
to walk your pet, when treats can be given if any, what area of the house
does the pet eat in, will pets need to be separated during feedings or at any
other time and anything else you feel is important for us to know. Y Have
ready emergency contact information, including how to reach you and your
veterinarian. Y Leave
pet food and supplies in one place and make sure the pet sitter knows where
they are. Y Buy
extra supplies in case you’re away longer than planned. Have brands and types
of food/treats written down and the place where we can purchase these items
if it runs out while you are away. Y Have 2
sets of keys made. 1 main set and a back-up set. Make sure ALL keys work
before giving them out. All keys will be
separated from identifying information and secured in a locked area. If
you do not want
us to safely keep your house keys on file in our locked area this is okay
too. Note: A $15.00 fee will accrue each time we have to come
and retrieve a set of keys for your next Puppies 2 Guppies visit. Y Show
us and write down your home’s important safety features such as the circuit
breaker and security system. Y Make
sure all lethal/harmful items and/or cleaning supplies are locked away from
your pets reach. Y Make
sure all personal treasures are put away securely. Especially if your pet is
destructive to your personal effects in your absence. Y Make
sure to take our phone number with you on your trip in case of a change in
plans or to check in on your animals. Y Call
us when you return home from your trip. Please leave a message if it is after
business hours. (M-F, 9a-7p) All of these responsibilities will allow us to serve you better and
maintain your pets and home in the safest and best possible way. |
