Puppies 2 Guppies is owned by Husband
and Wife team Doug & Tricia (try-see-a) Williams. They are both life long
animal lovers and have one Calico kitty named Mickey. She was adopted from a
shelter in Sacramento, CA. more than ten years ago. Our Education: Tricia and Doug both graduated from
college with honors. Tricia is a jack of all trades. She
has two degrees. One degree in Computer Technology and the other in
Networking Technology with an emphasis in Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer (MCSE). She has almost completed her third degree in Business
Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She is a licensed Virginia Real
Estate Agent. She “aced” the PSI
certification exam and is a PSI Accredited Pet Sitter as well as Pet First
Aid/CPR Certified. Doug also has two degrees. He has a
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in
Healthcare Administration. Our Personal
Background’s: As a very young child, Tricia was
always hanging out with her pets as well as the neighborhood animals. She
wanted to be a veterinarian since she was just three years old. Growing up,
her family always had at least two animals in their house. While her gentle
disposition as a child inhibited her goal of becoming a veterinarian, she
always made sure there was an animal around for her to cherish. She entered
the workforce at fourteen, where she searched many different employment
fields to find her calling. She has been employed in everything from hanging
drywall to writing computer programs. None of these fulfilled her need for
doing something meaningful. After over twenty years of struggling to find her
place in the workforce, she finally returned to the roots of her heart and
reclaimed her true and natural calling, working with animals. Her heart leaps
now, knowing that everyday she is doing what she was put on this earth to do.
Her deep commitment and passion for animals is being poured into the pet sitting
profession like no other career path before. As for
the other member of this committed team, Doug served our country in the Air
Force for over 22 years. He retired from the USAF Medical Service Corps in
2003. He was recently appointed the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the
TRICARE Regional Office North, a division of the Office of the Assistant
Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. He remains deeply committed to the
health and well being of our military troops and their family members. Aside
from being dedicated to our country, he enjoys spending quality time with the
animal family of Puppies 2 Guppies, especially the doggies. Their
ambition is to make Puppies 2 Guppies a company that is well known for its
professionalism in providing exceptional pet care. They also strive to become
notorious for going “above and beyond” for their clients and colleagues in
this hugely rewarding career field. |
